These short pieces were recorded by Yuri and PEK in a mammoth session on July 3, 2020 are source material for the accompaniment mix for Don Quixote. That was prepared from these pieces and other material over the next several weeks and Yuri will returned in later in July and August for two full length performance tracks.

I've developed an interesting method for recording these short works. I make a 3 minute track in the DAW with a verbal count for the beginning and ending of a three minute period. I then line up 12 of these in a row, and Yuri and I perform 12 three minute duets in about 50 minutes. We then perform two additional passes on the duration, ending up with 3 layers of duet.

I also mixed some with 2 layers and some with 1 layer.... This large pool of 36 3 minute mixes form a large part of the materials for the construction...
